We currently have five product candidates in various stages of development for cancer and immunologic diseases. Our integrated R&D organization is focused on identifying and pursuing drug candidates with compelling and validated biology. Our research scientists gather unique insights about each of our drug candidates and the disease states for which they are being developed by studying molecular pathways and potential mechanisms of action. We also work to define the role of biomarkers in better understanding the molecular basis of disease, and to identify drug candidates that are optimized to validated targets. The goal is to understand as much as possible about disease pathways and how drugs can intercept their targets. Building on our years of antibody experience, we also maintain a core competency in antibody engineering within our research department. These proprietary capabilities are important to support our overall R&D efforts, including the optimization of antibody product candidates in both the discovery or development phase. |
